Summary
The BM system is the source of System Operator data sent to key BSC Central Systems. National Grid intends to replace the BM system in 2013. The BM system currently sends data to the BSC Central Systems in CSV format. The new Electricity Balancing System (EBS) uses XML data format as standard in its interfaces with other systems. This Change Proposal considers the requirement and timescales for migrating National Grid’s interface with the BSC Central Systems from CSV to XML format.
